Salesforce Data Base - Wow!

At Twin Cities Habitat we are beginning to change department data bases to better integrate our operations and have cloud access anywhere on multiple devices so that all of our partners and constituents get the best relationship management possible. We began switching our home buyer and ABWK homeowners to Salesforce this past year. We have several thousand partner families and applicants in our data base. It has been such an improvement to our customized Access data base of the past.

It's easy to create customized pages, reports and graphs without having to rely on the "experts" to come in and make changes. And being cloud based, our field staff can have immediate access to information and input data as they are working with families. We are just beginning to use their volunteer system for our individual volunteers. I will keep you posted on hoe that works as well as scheduling volunteers. Transitioning from Raser's Edge to Salesforce may be a slower transition but hopefully that will happen in the not too distant future.

Here's the amazing thing about all this... It's free for the first 10 licenses (up to a $15,000 value).

Here what salesforce says about it's non-profit program: Imagine a unified view of every interaction clients, supporters, members, funders, volunteers and affiliates have with your department or organization.
